Jack vs. Halloween

Jack took a trip to New Jersey to celebrate Halloween with his cousin, Hannah! Together with Grandma and Pop, the two had SO much fun! Jack was a dragon and Hannah was dressed as Yoda :)

Jack did an amazing job trick-or-treating, and by the second house he knew exactly what to do!
It was a fun day and we were happy to share it with baby Hannah :)

Jack vs. Turning 2!

Well Jack has turned 2!! I can hardly believe it but the day has come and my little baby is no more. We celebrated a little early because Nate had work conflicts around Jack's actual birthday. It was a fun party with TONS of family in town visiting. Enjoy the pictures!!

Goodbye Iowa...Hello Pennsylvania

We enjoyed our last few days in Iowa....trips to the library, trips to the park, trips to the Children's Museum. Lots of fun!!

We enjoyed moving into our new place in Pennsylvania too! Everyone seems to be adjusting very well and having lots of fun. We already discovered our new Children's Museum too!

There is a little rivalry found in these pictures if you can find it....hint hint: John Deere vs. Case/New Holland! Tractors are a common installation at the local Children's Museums when you live in farm country like we tend to :)

Jack vs. New Jersey (Again!)

Once again we were off to NJ, but for an extended visit this time. With a friend's wedding, a house closing and an work shutdown to get through we thought it would be best for Jack and I (and the puppies) to go to NJ for 3 1/2 weeks. We had some adventures along the way...



First, one last snuggle with Daddy before we leave.

We had a stop down the Jersey Shore- Jack's first visit!! He was not thrilled by the sand and (freezing) ocean, but I hold out hope that one day he will love the shore as much as I do.

Jack also had a fun visit to the Turtle Back Zoo with Grandma, Grandpop, Uncle Matt & Aunt Lisa (and Kruegette!). It was a fun day and we had another first- Jack's first train ride!

It was a good month in NJ, but we were happy to be reunited with Daddy back in Iowa. Now it's time to get ready for the move to PA...3 weeks and counting!!

Jack vs. New Jersey

Jack and I took a trip to NJ in the beginning of March to visit the family and have a good time overall. We stayed (and played) with Grandma and GPW and even took them on a few adventures. We went to the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia and I highly recommend it if you have young children...what an awesome place!! Here are some pics from our visit with the family and our fun adventures!

I can see this exact photo a lot in our future:In other exciting news....the Gebharts are moving to Pennsylvania!! Nate got a new job (same company) at Three Mile Island so we will be relocating to the Harrisburg area this summer! We can't wait to be back towards the East coast and closer to family.

Jack vs. Mickey Mouse

We started our trip with a character dinner with Timon and Rafiki from Lion King. It took a little bit for Jack to warm up to the guys, but by the end of dinner he was hanging out with his new friends.

Our first full day at Disney World we went to Magic Kingdom. Jack watched street performers singing on Main Street USA, and rode lots of rides (Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Snow White). He was such a brave boy and we all had lots of fun!

Mostly we had lots of fun with Mickey, Donald, Uncle Matt & Aunt Lisa!! Good memories were made by all and we can't wait to go back!

The New Adventures of Jackers!!

I think Nate is enjoying having a little boy to pal around with these days. I had a meeting this past Tuesday night and when I came out of our bedroom to say goodbye to my 2 guys I found them playing in a newly constructed blanket fort in our living room!!In other news, if you couldn't already tell in the photo, Jack got his first big boy haircut!! Nate took him to the barber last week and Jackers came home with a very stylish new haircut! Our baby left that day and returned a big boy.
