Five Months Old!

So Jack turned 5 months old this Friday! Where does the time go? I can't believe how fast he's growing - no more squishy blob of a baby here anymore.
Jack and Mama are still trying to survive Dad-less days around here. I feel like I am counting every day, hour and minute to when we get Nate back to ourselves, but I know it will be here soon enough. In the meantime we are counting days until we leave for our New Jersey visit :)

This week Jack had some cuddle time with Gracie. Jack just LOVES his puppies; every time the pups walk by Jack watches them and I always catch him smiling at them.

This week Jack's adventures took him over to the street.... Sesame Street! I'm over the Baby Einstein right now so I put on Sesame Street for about 10 minutes the other morning before his morning nap and he loved it! He laughed so loudly when Big Bird came onto the screen :) I just know he'll be singing his ABC's soon enough now.

Happy (Belated) St. Patty's Day!!

So this week Jack celebrated his first St. Patrick's Day and his parents had the eternal debate of how old does one have to be to have his first Guinness? Well not this year little guy, but soon you can try the tasty brew :)
This week was also the first week of Nate's outage at work so he's working nights now. Jack can't wait to have his Daddy back at the end of the month! On Nate's one night off he decided to take Jack for a trip to the comic book store and of course Jack had to dress appropriately for the occasion.
Jack also finally got to go to downtown Davenport and see where Mommy used to work. It was quite an adventure and he had such a great time in her old office. We all can't wait to see what kind of adventures are ahead for next week :)

Let the blogging begin...

So I've decided that it is time to start seriously blogging about our Baby Jack again. I'm hoping to do a post every week so start checking back regularly to see little Jack growing up.

I'm starting this resurgence of posts with a few of pictures from the past few months: our trip to New Jersey, Jack's first trip in his Pap's plane and just some pictures of us hanging around the house.Like I said, keep checking back and I will be updating with all of Jack's adventures every week (we hope!).

In the meantime I hope Spring is coming quickly for everyone and now here's Jack...
